I am a farmer who does farmers markets and meat distributions all over Denver Metro and Northern Colorado (Plains). I want to collect signatures and start conversations (education) everywhere I am. Could I do this? I would need materials and how to turn in signatures. So excited! I could also do things here on the farm such as internet research and calls. Thanks!
Become a volunteer
There are many ways you can get involved. The initiative has just begun in earnest and it will be a long road ahead of us. We need passionate people who are committed to the cause of knowing what is in our food.
Here are some of the areas where we will need volunteers:
- Research and checking sources of information
- Graphic Design - for website and marketing materials
- Fundraising - through events and soliciting corporate sponsorships
- Events - Attending events as a representative of the group, educating others about the efforts, and eventually gathering petition signatures if that is a requirement for a ballot initiative.
