US Citizens are not cattle or experimental guinea pigs. We have a right to know. Our government needs to perform extensive testing before letting genetically modified products on the market. They have let us down. It appears they support corporations before they support the people.

There will be a panel discussion in Saguache County with the NSLV Conservation Roundtable on Oct. 22. I will be on the panel. I plan to push for a GMO free zone (agriculture) in our county. Please feel free to attend.

I have been avoiding GMO's for many years. I know the history of Monsanto and their out right lies. My father worked for Monsanto for 48 years and my stepmother 35 years. At the end of his career he was a regional sales director in the AG division selling additives to chicken feed, etc. I was curious about Monsanto over the years and did my research. I read the book called "The World According to Monsanto" and starts at the beginning of Monsanto but most of it is about GMO's. It's very scientific and can be hard to read but I highly recommend it.
